Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, problem-solve, and maintain all electrical control problems for all manufacturing equipment.

Troubleshooting machine malfunctions using electronic and PLC techniques

Performs routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment/parts

Study equipment manuals to develop audit items and preventative maintenance schedule.

Install or assist in the installation of new equipment, including proper layout and alignment.

Makes preventative maintenance checks and inspections as required and on time

Identify, research, prepare and present solutions to control problems and continuous improvement projects

Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime

Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications

Modify equipment as necessary to improve safety, quality, productivity and reliability

Perform tasks in a quality fashion by meeting or exceeding the internal customers’ requirements

Communicate professionally with plant personnel as to the important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and estimated time to complete the repairs or projects

hands-on experience in electrical systems (110/220/480 volts) is preferred.

 

Diagnose and resolve issues with roll-forming equipment and related tools, ensuring minimal downtime.

Conduct regular maintenance checks and preventive measures to guarantee safe and efficient operation of machinery.

Interpret technical drawings to accurately set up and align rolls according to CAD specifications.

Prepare rolls for precision grinding, maintaining strict tolerance levels.

Collaborate on modifications and improvements for machinery and auxiliary equipment.

Engage in various projects and tasks that support plant operations, as needed.

Work Environment

This role involves direct interaction with machinery in a dynamic manufacturing setting. Be prepared to work in an environment where temperatures may fluctuate beyond outdoor conditions.Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent is essential. Additional training from a vocational school or completion of a maintenance technician program is highly valued.

Professional Experience: A minimum of two years in industrial maintenance, preferably in roll forming or metal stamping environments. A blend of education and practical experience will be considered.

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with hands-on experience in electrical systems (110/220/480 volts) is preferred.

Analytical Skills: Ability to comprehend and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Competency in basic arithmetic operations involving measurements and weights is required.

Organizational & Communication Skills: Capable of juggling multiple tasks efficiently, self-driven, and adept at problem-solving in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication skills for effective interaction across all organizational levels.
