Warehouse Worker
The HT Group seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker for our client located in Sulphur, LA.
This is a contract-to-hire position offering $18hr.
The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime available during peak times.
Drug screening will be required upon offer, conducted in Orange, TX.
The warehouse is indoors and covered, but not air-conditioned.
Sneakers and shorts are acceptable attire; steel-toe boots are not required.
Responsibilities:
Receive and ship materials
Stock shelves and maintain inventory organization
Cut and prepare cable for orders
Unload trucks efficiently and safely
Operate a forklift (certification is a plus)
Match purchase orders with sales orders to ensure accuracy
File requisitions, work orders, and material requests
Label all incoming and outgoing materials correctly
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work environment
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience
Ability to lift and move heavy materials
Basic computer skills for inventory and filing tasks
Forklift certification is a plus but not required
Must pass a drug screening (conducted in Orange, TX) upon offer
