Warehouse Associate
Warehouse Associate JOB SUMMARY Responsible for the execution of daily warehouse operations related to shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling.
Ensures accuracy, safety, and efficiency while supporting customer requirements and company objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Operations Receive incoming deliveries, ensuring proper system receipt and correct material put-away.
Maintain appropriate raw material replenishment levels in PSAs.
Perform system transactions for cables released from Final Quality Control.
Cut, package, label, and store cables according to specifications.
Load flatbed trucks for customer shipments.
Operate forklifts safely and in compliance with certification requirements.
Shipping & Inventory Management Prepare and process required documentation for finished goods, including cable cuts.
Execute outbound shipments accurately and on time using CLS-designated carriers to meet customer requirements, reduce transportation costs, and improve warehouse efficiency.
Ensure inventory accuracy and data integrity across systems.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to minimize shipping backlogs and maintain inventory accuracy.
Systems & Continuous Improvement Support team members with SAP troubleshooting and training as needed.
Ensure forklifts and other battery-powered equipment are properly charged and maintained.
Actively participate as a self-starter in Kaizen and 5S initiatives.
Safety & Compliance Maintain full understanding of departmental and company policies and procedures.
Conduct safety walks within the warehouse and throughout the plant.
Strictly follow safety regulations, housekeeping standards, and PPE requirements.
Maintain compliance with all required training records.
Identify and correct hazardous conditions when possible, escalating issues when necessary.
Professional Conduct Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Promote Corning positively and lead by example.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Support and successfully complete assigned projects.

Required Experience & Skills 35 years of experience in a logistics or warehouse role Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including warehousing, distribution, and inventory management Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft, or Oracle Valid Forklift Certification
The range for this position is $***** hourly rate - $***** hourly rate.
Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
