Job Title: General Production Worker– Electronic Assembly
Job Description
This role involves performing electronic assembly of switches used in military, government, agriculture, and healthcare applications. You will work with small components, hand tools, and PC boards to build high-quality electronic products while maintaining strong attention to detail and following established processes.
Responsibilities
Assemble electronic switches and components according to specifications for use in military, government, agriculture, and healthcare products.
Handle small parts with precision, using strong hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity to ensure accurate assembly.
Use hand tools and power tools to build, fasten, and secure different component parts as part of the assembly process.
Place and secure components onto printed circuit boards (PC boards) using small and precision hand tools.
Gather and organize all materials, components, and tools needed to complete assigned assembly tasks.
Work at an individual workstation, maintaining a steady workflow and meeting daily production expectations.
Stand for extended periods throughout the shift and transition between standing and sitting as work tasks require.
Pay close attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met and products meet all specifications.
Follow all manufacturing procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards within the production environment.
Support overtime production needs by working extended hours, typically 3–4 hours of overtime daily as required.
Essential Skills
Experience working with small parts and strong hand–eye dexterity for precise electronic assembly.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in a production or assembly environment.
Experience placing components onto printed circuit boards (PC boards) using small and precision hand tools.
Ability to stand on your feet for most of the shift and sit as needed while maintaining focus on detailed tasks.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently follow instructions and assembly procedures.
Willingness and ability to work significant overtime, typically 3–4 hours per day, for a total of 50–60 hours per week.
Availability to work 1st shift (approximately 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with openness to starting at 5:30 a.m.) or 2nd shift (approximately 3:45 p.m.–12:15 a.m.).
Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with multiple workstations arranged in rows.
Additional Skills&Qualifications
Solder certification is a plus but not required.
Experience with soldering in an electronic assembly environment is highly beneficial.
Experience with pick-and-place equipment or processes is a plus and may support higher compensation.
Prior experience as an electronic assembler or in a similar assembly role is advantageous.
Ability to work independently at your own station while meeting production and quality expectations.

Shifts currently include 1st shift (approximately 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with flexibility to start at 5:30 a.m.) and 2nd shift (approximately 3:45 p.m.–12:15 a.m.), and you can expect substantial overtime of about 3–4 additional hours per day, leading to 50–60-hour workweeks. The facility follows health and safety protocols that include temperature checks and brief medical questions upon arrival and again near the end of the shift.
