Job Description
Duties
You will provide customer support to ensure essential daily security support across a broad spectrum of functional areas.
You will independently analyze and research complex security issues, identify effective solutions, and communicate these solutions clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and effective security practices across all levels of security (SAP, SCI, and collateral).
You will provide security support and maintains accurate access control logs for certified spaces, ensuring only authorized personnel have access.
You will conduct thorough self-inspections of secure facilities, diligently addressing any identifying findings and implementing corrective actions or mitigating risks to an acceptable level.
You will promptly report all security incidents and electronic spillages, initiating immediate containment actions and gather all necessary information for a Command Preliminary Inquiry.
Requirements
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.

A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test.
You will be subject to random testing
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.
You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee.
A relocation incentive may be authorized.
Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: Experience applying knowledge of DoD and/or DON security policies and procedures for the proper protection, handling and marking of controlled unclassified information (CUI) and classified information (SECNAV M-*******, DoDM ******* Volumes 1-3, the DoDM *******, and ICD-705), Experience in providing training to the workforce under area of cognizance, Able to effectively communicate with leadership, team members, and respond to security incidents, Ability to lead a small team if needed.

Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M.
