Section Assembly, Lancaster, PA

Our client, a manufacturer located in Williamsport, PA, is in need of Skilled Assemblers for 1st shift. These are full time positions, with an opportunity to work overtime.

Job Duties:

Assemble product to specifications according to blueprints and drawings, BOM's and work orders

Identify and inspect required components and set-up for assembly. May use punch press, truss mills and other hand tools

Monitor quality of raw materials and the manufacture of a quality product

Maintain a clean, safe and neat work area

Clean and store tools and equipment properly

Follow safety rules and regulations

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

Ability to read and understand work instructions in English

Preferred High School Diploma or GED

1-3 months related experience

Ability to read simple blueprints

Read a tape measure

Ability to operate hand tools

Basic Math comprehension (add, subtract, multiply and divide) in all units of measure

Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, reaching and lifting periodically up to 100 pounds with partner

Regularly lifting up to 35 pounds

Must be available to work mandatory overtime as needed including weekends.

Hours:

7am to 3pm with overtime starting at 4am.

Pay: $16.50 per hour.

Steel toed boots or sneakers are required.
