Civil Engineer, Lititz, PA

We are seeking a Civil Site Engineer to join a growing engineering firm in the Lancaster, PA area. This role focuses on land development, site design, and permitting for commercial, residential, and municipal projects.

• Perform site/civil design including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway layout
• Prepare stormwater management, erosion & sediment control, and NPDES permitting plans
• Design site layouts, sanitary sewer, and water systems using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, and municipal agencies
• Interpret local zoning, SALDO, and land development ordinances
• Prepare construction documents, reports, and cost estimates
• Support permitting approvals and agency submissions
• Conduct site visits and assist with construction observation
• Manage multiple projects and ensure deadlines and budgets are met

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 3–15+ years of experience in site design / land development
• Strong experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Knowledge of stormwater management and local PA regulations
• EIT required; PE preferred or on track
• Experience with permitting and municipal approvals in Pennsylvania is a plus
• Strong communication and project coordination skills
