Are you dependable, compassionate, and alert during the night hours? Home Instead is looking for dedicated caregivers to provide awake overnight care in clients’ homes throughout the Lansing area.

What the Role Involves:
As an overnight caregiver, you’ll provide peace of mind to families by staying present and responsive while their loved one sleeps. Duties may include:

Assisting with mobility and toileting

Offering companionship and reassurance

Monitoring for safety throughout the night

Handling light tasks as needed

Documenting changes or concerns

Details:

Shifts vary between 7pm-8am depending on the client.

Part-time (2-3 days) with consistent hours and the same client(s)

You’ll never be alone — our office team is available 24/7

Who We're Looking For:

At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience

Experience with dementia or hospice care is a plus

Must be able to lift 25 lbs and remain awake the entire shift

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance required

Ability to pass a background check and a drug test
