.Net Developer with Java Experience - Must be local to …, Michigan

Tek Spikes is looking for a skilled .NET Developer with Java experience to join our innovative team in Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software solutions, leveraging your expertise in both .NET and Java technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust applications that meet business requirements and ensure seamless integration across platforms. This position requires a local candidate who is available for face-to-face meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET technologies.

Utilize Java to support and integrate with existing systems and applications.

Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Implement best practices in coding and performance optimization for both .NET and Java environments.

Participate in peer code reviews, contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Debug and troubleshoot issues, providing timely solutions to ensure high application availability.

Assist in the migration and integration of legacy systems into modern architectures.

Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance development processes.

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 3+ years of professional experience in .NET development along with hands-on experience in Java.

- Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET, as well as familiarity with Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate).

- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and ORM tools.

- Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Must be a resident of Michigan and available for face-to-face meetings at the office.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Cloud services (Azure or AWS) is advantageous.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
