Senior Territory Production Underwriter | Remote
Our client, a highly rated insurance carrier, is continuing to grow its underwriting organization and is seeking a Senior Territory Production Underwriter to join their Commercial Casualty team.
This role is responsible for underwriting and pricing both new and renewal business within the Excess & Surplus (E&S) marketplace, with a strong emphasis on production, territory development, and profitability.
Pay Information
Base pay range: $130,******/yr - $160,******/yr (King's Insurance Staffing provided pay range)
$130,000 – $160,000+ base salary, plus a lucrative production bonus
Key Responsibilities
Underwrite and price complex E&S commercial casualty risks, including coverage, terms, and conditions
Evaluate risk acceptability by analyzing exposures and underwriting data to support sound decision-making
Actively market the territory through producer and wholesale broker visits
Build and maintain strong producer relationships to support retention and profitable growth
Achieve production, profitability, and loss ratio goals within the assigned territory
Monitor market conditions and competitive trends to identify new business opportunities
Qualifications
4+ years of Commercial Casualty underwriting experience, preferably within the E&S / surplus lines market
Proven Production Underwriting and/or Territory Marketing experience
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex risks
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
Fully remote role with flexible scheduling
