Position Overview We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Controller with a strong background in manufacturing to lead our accounting and financial operations. This role will partner closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, improve processes, and support business decision-making. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in cost accounting, financial reporting, and team leadership within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership&Strategy
Oversee all financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Provide accurate, timely financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Support strategic planning and long-term business objectives
Accounting Operations
Lead day-to-day accounting functions, including AP, AR, general ledger, and cost accounting
Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
Financial Reporting&Analysis
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Deliver variance analysis and actionable insights to leadership
Translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations
Budgeting&Forecasting
Lead the annual budgeting process across departments
Monitor performance against budget and provide ongoing forecasts
Identify risks and opportunities through financial modeling
Cost Accounting&Manufacturing Finance
Manage cost accounting systems, including inventory valuation and overhead allocation
Analyze product costs and manufacturing efficiency
Identify cost-saving initiatives and margin improvement opportunities
Compliance&Audit
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
Lead external audit processes and coordinate with auditors
Strengthen internal controls to mitigate risk and protect company assets
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and growth-oriented environment
Drive performance management and professional development
Process Improvement
Evaluate and improve financial systems and workflows
Implement best practices and leverage technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
5+ years of experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role
Strong manufacturing industry experience required
Deep knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management
Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Proven ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly

Base salary up to $150,000 + bonus opportunity
