May pick up mail from the local post office using a company vehicle May collect, sort, or deliver mail or other documents and materials internally or externally Determines proper class of mail and applies postage using a postage meter Prepares packages for courier distribution Maintains address databaseMaintains related departmental records and files Operates equipment which may include a personal computer, telephone, copier, scanner, shredder, folder, postage meter, electric and manual skid mover, etc. Assists with hand stuffing / collating projects and other department projects as assigned Minimum Requirements:Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Must possess and maintain a valid (State of Michigan) driver's license Ability to work an assigned eight hour schedule between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Successful completion of a physical and job-related functional screening assessment Ability to repetitively lift 40 lbs., infrequently lift 70 lbs., and push/pull 67.5 lbs.Must possess a basic understanding in the use and operation of a personal computer The company will provide equal employment and advancement opportunity within the context of its unique business environment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, familial status, citizenship, genetic information, disability, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, height, weight, military status, or any other status protected under federal, state, or local law or ordinance.
