Job Description
The Maintenance technician will be required to ensure operational performance in the facility is sustained through regular preventative maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, racks, and facility. A successful individual will be able to manage their daily work with a ticket system and support urgent changes to sustain safety to associates and operations to our customer needs.
Perform facility and maintenance tasks (FCM):
Will lead and support site TPM initiatives
Will conduct regular site audits of equipment and facilities to identify area in need of repair
Maintain, Trouble Shoot and RepairWarehouse dock door levelers
Warehouse Dock Doors
Warehouse Dock Locks
Warehouse equipment
Racking
Office equipment
Plumbing
Low voltage electrical work
Other items as defined
Capable of reading a blueprint or drawing to support troubleshooting on any of the above
Must be capable to safely operate and train on powered industrial vehicles. Such as forklifts, scissors lifts, and reach trucks
Strong in developing and maintaining solid preventative maintenance schedule
Become a Train the Trainer for Industrial Forklifts
Perform tasks with Health Safety and Environment (HSE):
Perform Accident Reporting
Contractor Safety Management tasks
Maintain Vendor Forms
Safety Audits
Other items as defined by management
Perform Security Tasks (PRS):
Maintain Access Control System
Maintain Camera System
Coordinate C-TPAT inspections with the Guards
Maintain Key Control
Perform ISP Audits
