Title: Director – Quality

Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Las Cruces, NM

Relocation: Partial (Relocation assistance up to $10,000)

Overview:

A respected healthcare organization in Southern New Mexico is seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Quality to lead quality and performance improvement efforts across the hospital. This senior-level role will drive initiatives related to compliance, accreditation, patient satisfaction, infection prevention, and national quality designations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all quality assurance programs and initiatives across the facility

Maintain compliance with regulatory bodies including CMS, Joint Commission, and State agencies

Supervise teams focused on Disease Specific Certification and Infection Prevention

Manage department budgets and track productivity

Mentor and support staff development within the quality department

Qualifications:

Active or eligible New Mexico RN license

Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or MBA preferred

Minimum of 7 years in healthcare, including 3 years in leadership roles

Strong background in quality improvement, performance metrics, and regulatory compliance

Experience in a for-profit hospital setting is strongly preferred

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with accreditation and compliance in an acute care environment

Proven record of improving healthcare quality outcomes
