Key Responsibilities

Lead, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the hospital's quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Direct teams in developing and maintaining robust performance metrics.

Facilitate organization-wide efforts to ensure quality improvement and compliance with all regulatory standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS).

Collaborate with clinical leaders to implement evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes.

Act as a subject matter expert in quality, patient safety, and risk management.

Monitor and report key performance indicators and patient care trends.

Promote a culture of safety, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Mentor and support department managers in quality initiatives and problem-solving methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing program. Bachelor's Degree is required.

Experience: At least 7 years of nursing experience with 3 years in a director or manager role. Previous Director-level experience is preferred.

Licensure: Current RN license in New Mexico or a compact license.

Certifications:

Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) required within 1 year of hire.

All certifications or completion courses must meet approved standards.
