Maintenance Analyst (Robot), Las Cruces

Rounds is partnering with one of the most active robot fleets on Earth, to staff hands-on Maintenance Analyst roles across U.S. college campuses.

Location
• New Mexico State University — Las Cruces, NM
What you'll do:
• Keep a fleet of delivery robots in top mechanical, electrical & software shape
• Run diagnostics, repairs, and component swaps; push software updates
• Own daily fleet deployment, recovery, and on-site troubleshooting
• Be the primary on-site point of contact for campus operations
• Track inventory, spare parts, and maintenance reporting
What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's (or final year) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Engineering — or equivalent
• Hands-on aptitude with hardware, electronics, or mechanical systems (projects, internships, personal builds all count)
• Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication
• Comfortable working on-site and lifting equipment up to 50 lbs
• U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship)
Bonus points: robotics, IoT, embedded systems, Linux/networking, or prior field-tech experience.
