Dispatcher, Farmingdale, NY

We are currently looking for a dedicated Dispatcher who is experienced in creating routes all throughout NYS, including Long Island, and the 5 boroghs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for problem solving and constant communication among drivers, customers and internal team members. Will be responsible for monitoring and configuring and ongoing use of our Transportation Management System (TMS). 

salary: $25 - $28 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 3 PM - 12 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Route Planning:  Candidate must be experienced with route planning all throughout NY, including the 5 boroughs utilizing our Transportation Management Systems (TMS) 
• Communication :   Must be able to clearly communicate with drivers, customers and internal team members
• GPS Tracking: Ability to utilize GPS tracking systems to provide clients with updates on ETA of delivert
• Problem Solving:  Must be able to trouble shoot and provide solutions to logistics issues
• Planning: The ideal candidate will need to plan, optimize, and assign routes to drivers to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries. 
• Documentation: Responsible for providing accurate load information, schedules and documentations within the TMS.
