Financial Oversight & Analysis
Analyze project financial data to monitor performance, identify trends, and flag potential issues.
Coordinate accurate and timely project setup, ensuring alignment with contract terms and organizational policies.
Review contracts to understand project scope, billing requirements, and financial obligations.
Monitor project budgets, track changes, and ensure updates are properly reflected in financial systems.
Verify that commitments to external partners or vendors align with project financial plans.
Ensure revenue is recognized accurately and in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
Manage project billing documentation, including preparation and oversight of AIAs and support for project requisitions.
Monitor retainage balances, reductions, and payments to subcontractors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Track and verify lien waivers and vendor waivers submitted by subcontractors.
Accounting & Reporting
Prepare monthly financial reports, including detailed commentary on project status, variances, and key financial metrics.
Participate in project review meetings and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records.
Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and external regulatory requirements.
Collaboration & Communication
Support project teams and leadership by providing financial information, analysis, and assistance with budgeting, audits, or special initiatives.
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders regarding financial performance and escalate concerns when necessary.
Audit & Compliance
Assist with internal and external audits related to project financials.
Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
