Travel: 25% (primarily local)

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement control system architectures (PLC, HMI/SCADA, DCS)

Develop schematics, panel layouts, and network designs (under 480VAC)

Manage project scope, budget, and timeline to ensure profitability

Perform onsite commissioning and technical troubleshooting

Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering a high-performing team

Cultivate strong client relationships and support business growth initiatives

Requirements

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical/Control, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field)

Licensure: PMP certification a plus

Experience:

8+ years in industrial automation (PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS/DeltaV)

2-3 years minimum with Emerson DeltaV platform

Experience in PLC-5 to ControlLogix conversions

Project management for systems up to $10M

Technical Skills:

PLC platforms: Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Modicon

HMI/SCADA: Ignition, FactoryTalk, Aveva, GE iFIX

Programming: Ladder Logic, Structured Text, VBA, SQL, Python

Industrial networking: Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus

Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, client relations, and team mentorship
