Title: Java/ SQL Engineer

Type: 6 months Contract to Hire (must be able to convert without sponsorship: USC, GC, or H4 EAD

Location: Hybrid in Addison; 5080 Spectrum Dr, Addison, TX 75001 (want candidates local to Dallas/Addison)

Interview Process: 3 steps

Must Haves:

5+ years of experience developing Java/J2EE web-based applications, including design/development of user interfaces using MVC Frameworks, Struts etc.

Must have strong experience integrating complex J2EE systems and applications, ideally in an Oracle environment

Strong knowledge and experience with Core Java and J2EE technologies

Strong SQL experience is a must

Nice to Haves:

AngularJS

Healthcare industry exp

What they're looking for:

Heavy on SQL more than Java even. 40/60 Java vs SQL

This is supporting their Data Mgmt team as a software engineer

Not a data position, just need to be pretty proficient in SQL

Wants great people, not good people. Recommends for us - do some pretty heavy vetting

Frontend exp is nice to have, wouldn't be a requirement though
