Location: Remote Role

Position Summary & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced F5 Network Engineer with a strong background in designing, implementing, and optimizing F5 solutions, including BIG-IP LTM, GTM (DNS), ASM, APM, and iRules scripting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing high-availability architectures, migrating legacy systems to F5 platforms, and automating deployments. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance security, performance, and scalability.
Architect and design enterprise-grade F5 solutions, ensuring security, scalability, and redundancy.
Configure, deploy, and maintain F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM (DNS), ASM, APM, AFM, and iRules for application delivery and security.
Migrate applications from legacy load balancers (e.g., Citrix NetScaler, Cisco ACE) to F5 solutions.
Develop iRules, automation scripts (Python, JSON, Ansible, Terraform, or AppViewX) to optimize performance and security.
Integrate F5 with cloud platform s like AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Implement SSL/TLS offloading, traffic steering, WAF policies, and Zero Trust Security principles using F5 solutions.
Troubleshoot network, application, and security issues related to F5 load balancers.
Collaborate with network, security, and DevOps teams to align F5 deployments with business and security requirements.
Stay up to date with F5 product updates, vulnerabilities, and best practices to maintain a secure and efficient infrastructure.
Document designs, configurations, and operational procedures for ongoing support and compliance
Required Experience & Skillset
5+ years of experience as an F5 Engineer, with a focus on architecture and design.
Must have F5 Architect experience
Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM (DNS), APM, ASM, AFM, and iRules scripting.
Experience with cloud-based F5 implementations (AWS, Azure, OCI).
Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, DNS, BGP, OSPF).
Familiarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform, AppViewX).
Experience in designing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
Understanding of Zero Trust, SASE, and WAF security models.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze packet captures using tools like Wireshark.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
