Key Responsibilities:
This role focuses on financial reporting accuracy while expanding into financial analysis and business insights.
Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis
Review financial results and perform variance analysis against budgets and prior periods
Support preparation of internal financial reporting packages for leadership
Work closely with accounting during month-end and quarter-end close
Analyze operational results to identify financial trends and performance drivers
Support internal financial reviews and documentation processes
Collaborate with operations and leadership to understand business activity
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions
Qualifications:
This position is well suited for professionals with backgrounds in public accounting audit or financial reporting.
35+ years of experience in public accounting audit or corporate accounting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statements
Advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance partners
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is helpful but not required.
