Administrative Associate
The Administrative Associate supports the office and administrative functions for TRIO's Student Support Services. This is a federally
funded outreach program that supports the UNL community through academic, social and financial support for first-generation college students. In this role you will: Provide excellent customer service via phone, email and in person to all students, faculty, staff and community members who contact or visit the TRIO offices.Support the Student Support Services student recruitment process by processing applications, scheduling interviews, data entry of all student profiles and ensuring that student files are up to date. Lead a team of student workers including; hiring, training, scheduling and timekeeping management.Serve as the point person for Student Support Services departmental purchasing, submit and reconcile all receipts per policies. Gather assessment data, files, and financial information for the annual report and assist with the finalization of the annual report per federal grant requirements. Minimum 1 year of demonstrated administrative and/or office management experience. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills necessary. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals. Ability to provide outstanding customer service. Prior experience and working knowledge of Microsoft products.Preferred Qualifications - Bachelors degree in business, psychology, sociology, education or related field.
