Description
Our Production Workers are responsible for producing high-quality windows by operating machinery, assembling parts, and ensuring products meet company and customer specifications. This position requires attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate production equipment, hand tools, and power tools to assemble and fabricate windows. Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and measurements to ensure accuracy of production. Inspect materials and finished products to verify quality standards are met. Safely handle glass, frames, and other materials in accordance with company policies.Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency. Follow all company safety rules, procedures, and use of required personal protective equipment (PPE). Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or production issues to supervisors promptly. Work collaboratively with team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous manufacturing or assembly experience helpful but not required; training provided. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively. Basic math and measurement skills (e.g., ability to read a tape measure). Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.Physical Requirements (BFOQs)
Ability to stand and walk for 8-10 hours per shift. Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs independently, and occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance. Ability to perform repetitive hand, arm, and shoulder movements, including gripping, reaching, and fine motor tasks. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and climb short ladders or platforms as needed to complete tasks.Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, dust, noise, and exposure to moving machinery and glass materials. Ability to wear and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear.
