POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for the preparation and cooking of food according to established recipes and standards.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assists in the preparation, production and service of food for restaurant and banquet functions.

Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes by following recipes and/or product specifications.

Maintain standards of sanitation and adhere to food safety regulations.

Operate and maintain a variety of kitchen equipment including but not limited to choppers, mixing machines, slicers, steamers, grills, etc.

Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by management. 

Qualifications:
Able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds including stocking shelves above eye level.

Attention to detail and multitasking skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to bend, twist, lift and stand for the shift worked.

Compensation Range:
The compensation for this position is $25.00/Yr. - $25.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
