Job Overview Our private practice in Firestone, CO is seeking an experienced and skilled EDDA to join our team. Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols. Take digital radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety standards. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the office. Perform basic administrative tasks, such as filing and maintaining inventory of dental supplies. Skills Strong restorative skills. Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.Familiarity with dental coding for accurate billing and insurance claims processing is a bonus! Knowledge of endodontics, general dentistry, and dental terminology to assist effectively in various treatments. Understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures. Experience with dental imaging technologies to assist in diagnostic processes.Ability to work with electronic health record systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient workspace. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
