Retail Sales Associate, Longview, TX

The Sales Associate provides fast and friendly service by actively engaging with customers to assess their needs. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, shoppable sales floor, managing financial transactions, and performing technical tasks such as testing and installing vehicle batteries. Additionally, this position involves making local deliveries to ensure our customers get what they need, when they need it.

salary: $37,439 - $37,440 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 6 PM

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, ask open-ended questions to determine their needs, and provide expert product knowledge.

• Sales Excellence: Drive sales by discussing product options (good/better/best), suggesting related items, and meeting personal sales goals.

• Technical Service: Test and install various batteries, including those for cars and trucks.

• Operations & Inventory: Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise to ensure the store is always "tour-ready."

• Deliveries: Operate a company vehicle to complete local deliveries efficiently.

• Transaction Management: Accurately handle financial transactions and advise customers on member benefits and promotions.
