Financial Planner, Mount Pleasant

They are seeking a motivated, client-focused Financial Planner to join their Mount Pleasant SC team.
This role is ideal for someone who is entrepreneurial, relationship-driven, and passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals while contributing to a collaborative and growth-oriented firm.
Responsibilities:
Manage and support an existing book of business with a strong emphasis on client retention
Identifying additional deposits and planning opportunities
Generating referrals
Recommending appropriate financial products and solutions
Develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to client goals and objectives
Present financial plans and recommendations clearly and confidently to clients
Conduct ongoing portfolio and financial plan reviews
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service
Collaborate with internal team members to deliver a high-quality client experience
Develop familiarity with Gunderson Capital's investment philosophy and planning process
Assist in identifying and analyzing individual equity investment opportunities
Participate in marketing and brand-building initiatives, including willingness to co-host the BSN radio show when needed
Stay current on financial markets, planning strategies, and industry trends
Work independently and effectively with minimal supervision
Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, banking, or a related field preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred
Strong financial planning creation and presentation capabilities
Familiarity with financial planning software
Understanding of individual and business tax planning concepts
Interest in investment markets and individual equities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong work ethic
Proven ability to work independently and manage client relationships
FINRA licenses (Series 7 and 66) and/or CFP designation preferred
