Legal Assistant

Our Nacogdoches location is looking for the right person to fill an opening for a full-time Legal Assistant. This position includes medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays and 401k benefits. The ideal candidate should have general customer service and computer skills, be able to multi-task, learn legal concepts, along with preparing and proofing documents. Previous experience with internet, title, or genealogy research is helpful but we will train you in these areas as needed. In this position, you will work independently as well as with a team to learn legal concepts, and the multitude of information that is necessary to take on this position. If you enjoy learning and working in a fast-paced environment, this may be the job for you.Starting pay is $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required as it may be necessary for you to travel to another office or county.
