About the Role The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in workers' compensation litigation, including trial involvement, and a strong commitment to client advocacy.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced legal professionals, manage a dynamic caseload, and contribute to successful case outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Client Representation: Advise clients on legal options and develop effective case strategies.
Legal Research & Drafting: Prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
Court Advocacy: Represent clients in hearings and legal proceedings.
Case Management: Oversee a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and effective legal action.
Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
3-5 years of experience in workers' compensation and longshore law.
Prior experience in a law firm setting.
Strong legal research, writing, and document preparation skills.
Proficiency in legal software and research tools.
Active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.
