Knipper Health’s Custom Pharmacy Solutions is seeking a dynamic, highly analytical, and execution-focused Director, Business Performance to support the Executive Leadership Team in advancing the company’s strategic priorities, performance goals, and transformation initiatives. This high-visibility role requires strong business judgment, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize data, align stakeholders, and manage performance rhythms across a complex healthcare business.
Working at the intersection of strategy, operations, and performance management, the Business Performance Director will play a pivotal role in driving accountability across the organizational strategic plans, which includes initiatives in labor efficiency, system integration, commercial expansion, and talent optimization.
Responsibilities:
Enterprise Performance & Strategic Plan ExecutionMonitor progress and key metrics across all pillars of the 12-month KnippeRx Strategic Plan:
Labor Model Optimization: Track labor cost trends, incentive performance, and workforce efficiency metrics
AI & Automation: Support implementation tracking of automation technologies across pharmacy and call center operations
Technology Integration: Coordinate cross-functional alignment on system consolidations (e.g., CRM, dispensing platforms)
Client Experience & Growth: Monitor client satisfaction, renewal activities, and upsell performance
Talent & Culture: Track leadership development and hiring progress for middle management roles
Financial Performance: Ensure operating performance aligns to budget forecasts, identify risks and opportunities
Executive Support & Cross-Functional CoordinationServe as a central coordination point for strategic projects owned by the Executive Team
Develop reporting tools and lead performance reviews to ensure alignment, visibility, and accountability
Manage executive-level action logs, project plans, and meeting follow-ups across departments
Insight Development & CommunicationPrepare briefing materials, dashboards, business cases, and board-ready presentations
Deliver clear, data-backed recommendations to executive stakeholders
Translate complex operational data into strategic insights that drive decision-making
Special Projects & Continuous ImprovementLead or contribute to special projects related to market expansion, vendor evaluations, client onboarding, or operational turnarounds
Support scenario modeling, business case evaluations, and cost-benefit analyses for high-impact decisions
Promote a culture of performance improvement, problem-solving, and operational discipline

Qualifications:
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
Masters degree (preferably with focus in Strategy, Operations, Healthcare, or Finance) or equivalent combination of education and experience
5-7 years of progressive experience in business operations, healthcare consulting, corporate strategy, or executive support
Strong grasp of enterprise metrics, cost drivers, and cross-functional operations in a healthcare services environment
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and performance dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and credibility across senior stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, drive structure, and execute with precision
Preferred Experience:
Background in hub services, specialty pharmacy, patient services, or healthcare delivery
Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma, labor modeling, or commercial hub operations
Prior exposure to M&A integration, CRM/ERP transitions, or customer success frameworks
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Excellent critical, analytical and complex problem-solving skills
Advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Ability to balance multiple priorities to meet expected response deadlines
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders and diverse work groups
Ability to adapt quickly to changing environment
Demonstrated leadership skills in successfully managing teams and collaborating
Demonstrated orientation to process improvement
Proven track record of developing collaborative working partnerships with other departments and leaders to successfully achieve goals and develop strong end-to-end business processes.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills as well as exemplary oral and written communication skills, including capability to effectively present and influence audiences.
Strong financial and analytical skills – ability to manage cost, identify drivers of lower-than-expected performance, and drive performance improvements.
Possess strong organizational and planning skills to include demonstrated project management, change management, and execution skills along with operational creativity.
Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence individuals at all levels of the organization and to take appropriate risks.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook and Word with advanced Excel skills (Salesforce CRM preferred)
