Accounting Assistant, Lower Merion Township

Key Responsibilities:

Manage purchasing and invoicing for stock and customer orders efficiently.

Handle AIA and payment applications with accuracy.

Maintain effective inventory management and ETA reports for project managers.

Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely arrival of materials and process invoice approvals, credit memos, and returns.

Review requisitions and collaborate with departments regarding their requirements.

Process bills, verify their accuracy, and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

Maintain organized and precise accounts payable records.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments efficiently.

Assist with general ledger account reconciliations.

Support the accounting team with various projects and tasks as needed.

Ensure confidentiality of all financial information.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Position Details:

This is an in-office position, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, up to $65,000 per annum.

Benefit from 120 hours of PTO annually, adjusted to start date after a 90-day probationary period.
