Company Overview:
A growing manufacturer in the Eddystone area is seeking a qualified Industrial Engineer/Maintenance Manager to join its operations team. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership position reporting directly to the Plant Manager. The Maintenance Manager will oversee the upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of all processing equipment and facilities, supporting a 24/7 operation.
This is a unique opportunity to become part of a rapidly expanding team in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and perform maintenance on all machinery and equipment to minimize production downtime and ensure safe operation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date repair files and equipment documentation.
Develop, implement, and manage the plant s Preventive Maintenance (PM) program; ensure proper documentation of all completed PMs.
Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and tools to prevent production delays.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the maintenance department.
Assist the Plant Manager with operational planning, safety initiatives, and plant efficiency improvements.
Lead, train, and develop maintenance technicians; manage performance and promote a culture of accountability.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal safety protocols.
Provide technical expertise in metal fabrication, welding, electrical systems, automation, and mobile equipment maintenance.
Ensure that all maintenance personnel are properly trained and equipped to execute work safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
Enforce all safety policies and ensure use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience in a Maintenance or Industrial Engineering role.
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Proficiency in metal fabrication, cutting, and welding.
Experience with mobile equipment operation and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and automation, including motors, VFDs, drives, and PLCs.
Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, squat, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Ability to work in environments with noise, dust, and elevated temperatures.
Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed for a 24/7 operation.
