Details:
We are seeking a part-time RN to work every Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 6pm. This role includes triaging hospice calls, managing the referral and intake process, nurse scheduling, and providing field visits as needed. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, confident in decision-making, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Triaging after-hours and weekend hospice calls to ensure timely and appropriate interventions

Supporting the intake and referral process with compassion and efficiency

Completing in-person field visits when necessary to assess patient needs

Accurately documenting in the EMR system and communicating with the care team

Providing holistic, patient-centered care with sensitivity to emotional, physical, and spiritual needs

Qualifications:
Current RN license in PA

Hospice experience required

Experience with EMR systems required

Proficient with computers and comfortable navigating digital tools

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, & auto insurance for travel within the service area
