Immediately Hiring: Cutting Machine Operator
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Fed Cutting Operator who is skilled in performing make readies and operating cutting machinery. Candidates should have experience with equipment similar to Iberica, Bobst 142, Bobst 145, and Bobst 102. The role involves proper press maintenance, lubrication, daily quality checklist completion, and recording time and materials usage in SAP and PEAK. Additionally, you will disassemble machines to perform minor repairs or replace worn parts using hand tools. Responsibilities also include assisting temporary employees with task assignments while reinforcing SQF standards and maintaining core values. Other duties may be assigned by supervisors or managers, and maintaining a clean and orderly building is essential.Responsibilities: Operate and maintain Sheet Fed Cutting machinery, including performing make readies. Conduct proper press maintenance and lubrication. Complete daily quality checklists and record information in SAP and PEAK. Disassemble machines for minor repairs and replace broken or worn parts using hand tools.Assist temporary employees with task assignments while reinforcing SQF standards. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the building and assist in plant-wide painting schedules. Participate in SQF audits while maintaining SQF standards. Essential Skills: Extensive knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic components.Ability to troubleshoot, adjust, and debug machine lines. Trained in Mechanical Assembly Standards, Engineering Standards, and parts flow. Heavy mechanical skills in a manufacturing environment. Additional Skills&Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 2 years of related manufacturing experience in a converting facility or similar. Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Why Work Here? The shift operates from 7pm-7am on a rotating schedule (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off). Training occurs on the first shift for 4-8 weeks.Job Type&Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenixville, PA. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
