Equipment Operator

Duties

1. Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and safety standards are upheld

2. Cleaning, lubricating, and performing regular safety checks on equipment

3. Properly positioning equipment prior to turning it on, off, and loading/unloading it.

4. Training crew members in safe operation of equipment

5. Observing the safe distribution of dirt and other materials

6. Immediately reporting any and all faults or concerns to supervisors

7. Maintaining cleanliness and safety of all work sites and equipment

8. Attending meetings and refresher courses as required

9. Troubleshooting equipment as required

10. Performing other duties as needed

11. Professionally communicate with supervisor, office manager, and customers as needed

12. Must be competent in operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner with sufficient knowledge of that machine and its capabilities to perform the work as requested

Qualifications

- High school or GED education preferred

- Valid license and safety certifications

- Excellent teamwork and person-to-person skillset

- Ability to operate under pressure

- Follows instructions and guidelines

- Knowledge of all relevant and applicable equipment used

- Bank account required for Direct Deposit of weekly payroll check

- Two forms of ID

- Completed apprenticeship

- Commercial Driver?s License (CDL)

- Full year of prior experience with references

- Bilingual
