Amp;C Engineer, Texas

Position: E&C Engineer

Work Location : Lubbock, Texas 79407

Project Overview, deliverables (what is this person responsible for).

Performs point-to-point testing for distribution field devices (e.g., 3 closures, cap racks, sectionalizing cabinets), and distribution substation equipment in Texas. Includes logistical prep, scheduling with crews, and working in a SIP-controlled environment.

Includes logistical setup for device testing, collaboration with internal teams, executing point-to-point testing, tracking and reporting results using Excel or PowerApps.

What are the top 3-5 skills and qualifications (technology/application/software, etc.) required?

Experience with electric distribution systems

Familiarity with Excel and PowerApps

Ability to coordinate and report on testing progress

Team collaboration

Communication and logistical coordination

Ideal candidate background and how many years required?

2 5 years, ideally from utility or telecom sectors with testing experience

Are there any preferred or "nice to have" skills?

SCADA experience

Communications troubleshooting knowledge
