The Opportunity

Our client is a premier global provider of specialized, high-pressure industrial gas systems. They specialize in the design and manufacture of custom, built-to-order solutions—including vaporizers and mixing systems for LPG, SNG, and Hydrogen. As a

Mechanical Project Engineer , you will be the technical anchor for custom projects. This is a "full-lifecycle" role where you own the engineering from initial concept and complex BOM creation through to fabrication on the factory floor.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the execution of bespoke gas systems, ensuring designs meet strict safety and performance standards. Develop highly detailed

Industrial Gas Bills of Materials (BOMs)

and P&IDs for custom builds. Perform component sizing (valves, pumps, regulators) and design for

pressure vessels

and heat exchangers. Work "boots-on-the-ground" with fabrication technicians to troubleshoot assembly and translate designs into physical systems. Travel approximately

10%

to client sites for system commissioning and technical consultation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering . 3–5+ years in a manufacturing or OEM environment (Oil&Gas or Industrial Gas preferred). Deep knowledge of

ASME / pressure vessel codes

and mechanical component sizing. Proficiency in

SolidWorks , AutoCAD, and Excel (for complex BOM management). Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder ( No sponsorship available ).
