Custodial And Maintenance Laborer
Maintain the heart of our community. Under general supervision, you will perform custodial and maintenance duties at assigned City recreation buildings and facilities. This role is essential for the physical set-up and breakdown of community events and ensuring our facilities remain safe, clean, and welcoming for all residents. How you will make an impact As a member of our facilities team, you won't just be cleaning—you'll be ensuring our community has a great place to gather. Your core duties will include:Facility care: Perform custodial duties including cleaning floors, carpets, windows, and restrooms. Event coordination: Assist in the set-up and reconfiguration of tables, chairs, and audio-visual equipment for Citywide events. Safety&security: Open and secure recreation buildings and perform regular refuse/debris removal to maintain safety. Equipment operation: Use and maintain basic tools, buffers, vacuum cleaners, and other custodial equipment. Flexible support: Assist with various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support the City's programs.Why join us? Skills: Ability to follow written and oral instructions and maintain effective working relationships.Applications will be carefully reviewed for completeness and qualifications. The most competitive candidates will be invited to participate in an oral interview panel. Finalists may undergo reference and background checks. Filing deadline: June 11, 2026 at 6:00 PM.
