Maintenance Technician, Madison

We are seeking a
full-time Maintenance Technician
to join our growing team and service our expanding portfolio of residential properties in Madison, WI.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring timely and professional service.
Perform general building repairs, including
plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and painting
.
Troubleshoot and repair appliances and equipment as needed.
Conduct routine inspections of properties, systems, and grounds.
Maintain accurate records of completed work orders.
Collaborate with staff, tenants, and vendors to ensure excellent service delivery.
Assist with capital projects, unit turnovers, and preventative maintenance plans.
Identify repair needs and recommend proactive solutions to improve property operations and resident experience.
Preferred Qualifications
EPA Universal or Type I/II HVAC Certification
(refrigerant handling).
OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
credential (if applicable).
Experience with
boilers, chillers, and mechanical systems
.
Knowledge of
low-voltage electrical systems
and fire alarms.
Familiarity with
locksmithing, key systems, and access control
.
Advanced carpentry, painting, and finishing skills.
Experience using
Entrata property management software
and digital work order systems.
Preventative maintenance program development experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to train junior technicians.
Schedule
Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts)
On-call rotation required
