Maintenance Staff, Apple River

Apple Canyon Lake Property Owners Association (ACLPOA) is a recreational community located approximately 15 miles east of Galana, Illinois. We are currently looking for a General Maintenance Worker to assist in the day-to-day routine maintenance for the association’s buildings and amenities. This is a full-time position and includes available participation in our employee benefit package including 401k, medical, and dental insurance. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Cutting, trimming, and removal of grass, bushes, and trees Trail maintenance and construction; overall grounds and parking lots maintenance Trash and snow removal; janitorial Pool and beach maintenance Plumbing and electrical repairs; painting, staining, and power washing Construction; install and maintain docks Lake maintenance such as weed treatment/harvesting, buoy placements Requirements Requirements: A valid state issued driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability under ACLPOA vehicle insurance policy May be required to obtain additional licenses (pesticide applicator, pool operator, etc.) Ability to lift/carry 50lbs and stand/walk for 6 hours Canwork with minimal direct supervision Education: High school or GED Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience with similar functions and responsibilities
