Key Responsibilities

Review customer contracts and transactions to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606

Lead and support month-end close activities related to revenue accounting, including reconciliations and analysis

Analyze revenue trends, fluctuations, and variances to support management reporting and business insights

Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and finance teams to ensure accounting treatment aligns with business activity

Assist with the evaluation and enhancement of internal controls surrounding revenue processes

Support ongoing improvements to revenue accounting workflows, documentation, and close efficiency

Prepare audit schedules and respond to external auditor requests related to revenue accounting

Serve as a technical accounting resource for revenue recognition matters within the accounting organization

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

3+ years of accounting experience, including direct experience with revenue recognition - ASC 606

CPA strongly preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Effective communicator capable of translating technical accounting guidance into practical business solutions
