Primary Duties Responsibilities of the Senior Cost Accountant:

Responsible for leading the costing function through regular review and setup of standard costs

Responsible for Executing the monthly close activities consistent with current schedules-- includes journal entries, reserve analyses, SOX, and account reconciliations.

Maintain accurate inventory records, including; standard cost maintenance, cycle counting, physical inventories, accounting for obsolete and out-of-spec inventory

Check and clear data on labor and materials costs burden and expense items, inventory, and profit and loss adjustments.

Develop and measure estimate versus standard and actual profitability

Develop measurements and report Key Performance Indicators

Distribute costs between the various divisions of management and production.

Classify production costs into wages, material and overhead.

Support month-end and year-end general ledger close and financial reporting

Job Requirements for Senior Cost Accountant:

Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance is required

Publicly traded experience is a plus (SOX)

Cost Accounting knowledge

Manufacturing: 2+ years

ERP Software experience; SAP, Hyperion, Business Intelligence

MBA / CMA / CPA Preferred

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 Base + Bonus #INMAY2026 #LI-AE3
