Robotic Welder

Chapter 2, Inc. is a full-service manufacturer specializing in precision manufacturing and engineering services. Chapter 2 is currently seeking to fill a Robotic Welding position on 2nd shift. Hours are 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday. You will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining automated welding systems to produce high-quality welded components. Ensuring that robotic weld systems produce accurate, durable, and repeatable welds that meet the high standards of a precision manufacturing environment. Work is subject to process and final inspection. The job typically requires the ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols. • Operate large-scale CNC robotic welding machines. • Set up components for welding according to specifications. • Perform secondary work such as grinding and sanding between cycle times. • Follow all quality and safety requirements.• Assist with housekeeping and maintain a clean work area. • To monitor, carry out and abide by company policies.

Requirements:• Candidate(s) should be a reliable and responsible individual • Able to work independently and well with others • Must have excellent attendance record • Must be able to lift 50lbs • Must pass respirator fit test • Current Welding certification preferred (may substitute experiencefor certification)
