American Family Insurance Agency This is not a typical sales job. We are looking for someone who is serious about building a long-term career in insurance sales and eventually becoming an Agency Owner. This opportunity is for someone who is driven, resourceful, competitive, and willing to put in the worknot someone who simply "wants to try sales."If you are someone who waits to be told what to do, struggles with follow-through, or is uncomfortable prospecting and networking, this will likely not be the right fit. What This Role Involves

This position focuses heavily on: Prospecting and generating leads Building relationships and networking Following up consistently Learning how to grow and maintain a book of business Developing long-term sales and business ownership skills You will be expected to actively build your pipelinenot wait for leads to come to you.What We're Looking For

We are looking for a true doer, not just a talker. The ideal candidate: Is highly motivated and self-driven Understands that success in sales comes from consistent effort Is comfortable reaching out to people and building relationships Can handle rejection and stay persistent Is eager to learn the insurance industry and grow long-termWants a career path toward future agency ownership Insurance experience is a huge plus, but not required. Mindset, work ethic, and initiative matter more. Interview Requirement

To show initiative and preparation, candidates will be required to bring: A written list or plan of people and businesses they would initially reach out to for prospecting and networking opportunities Most candidates begin with friends, family, and past coworkers. The key is showing us you are already thinking beyond that and are willing to actively create opportunities and connections on your own.Licensing Requirement

Candidates must obtain their insurance license before hire. We are looking for candidates who are eager enough to move quickly. Most motivated individuals can complete licensing within approximately 2 weeks if they stay focused and committed. Compensation
