Insight Global is seeking a

Part-Time Administrative Assistant

for a small, family-owned mechanical business. This individual will support daily office operations by handling document formatting, assisting with billing processes, and maintaining organized records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in Microsoft Word and Excel, and has experience with basic bookkeeping functions. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent part-time hours in a stable, family-oriented environment.

Duration:

6 month contract-to-hire (Part-Time, permanent) Salary:

$23/hour Location:

Onsite– Newington, CT (Pane Rd.) Schedule:

30 hours/week, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM–2:00 PM or 9:00 AM–3:00 PM)

Must-Haves: 1+ year of experience in an office or administrative setting Experience with basic bookkeeping (Accounts Payable&Accounts Receivable, invoicing) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel High attention to detail and organization skills

Plusses

: Experience running payroll (especially certified payroll and union payroll) Familiarity with Peachtree accounting software

Day-to-Day: Type and format written field reports in Microsoft Word, including recreating drawings using shapes Assist the office manager with billing and invoicing tasks Maintain and organize filing systems (physical documents) Retrieve project documents for the owner and field technicians as needed
