The Warehouse Associate

role is responsible for demonstrating exceptional customer service and organizational skills on a regular basis. Master product knowledge and serve as a key team member as you unload trailers and organize product to maximize efficiency within the warehouse. This position is required to effectively manage and oversee receiving product, building orders, inventory maintenance, forklift operation, and warehouse cleanliness. This position is structured for an action-oriented individual who leads by example and can spend extended periods of time walking and standing. This position reports directly to the Store Manager who will provide guidance and direction for all Warehouse Associate activity.

The Garden Associate role

is responsible for demonstrating exceptional customer service and communication skills as you coordinate with store and warehouse staff to effectively meet customer needs. This position is responsible for the upkeep and restocking of greenhouse inventory as well as keeping all areas clean and maintained. Designing greenhouse merchandise displays and organizing product placement is another primary duty included in this position. This role requires the effective use and familiarization of the computer operated POS (point of sale system). This position is structured for a collaborative worker who has the ability to spend extended periods of time walking and standing in an outdoor environment.

These stores operate from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM, all shifts will fall between those times. These roles are planned to be 35 - 40 hours per week.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: PRIMARY DUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES

:• Successfully operate computer POS system • Manage cash and credit card transactions • Reconcile end of day sales and prepare deposit • Greenhouse maintenance including cleaning customer areas, restrooms, breakroom, stockroom, and shelving • Maintain inventory stock in greenhouse including watering and pruning plants, consolidating inventory, and rotating stock• Design merchandise displays • Obtain product knowledge through independent research • Contribute to the care and handling of live plants and animals within the store • Answer customer inquiries pertaining to greenhouse products • Effectively communicate with the store and warehouse staff to coordinate timely customer pick-up• Provide exceptional customer service The above statements cover what are generally believed to be the principal and essential functions Company Description Staffing Provider.
