As a 'Strategy & Production Intern' at Plural, you will primarily support Daniel Plenge and various other team members who lead our interior design, home decor, fashion, beauty, and spirits partnerships. 

A Strategy & Production Intern is a strategic communicator who has experience composing social media strategies and creating social-first content. This person is responsible for supporting Plural’s Strategy team as they execute and optimize strategy to deliver business impact.

The ideal candidate is a creative marketer at heart and has experience in crafting unique brand storytelling that drives social engagement and awareness. You understand the world of social, you spot trends, and you understand influencer culture. You're highly creative and unafraid to offer ideas and strategies to keep our partners moving forward. This role is tasked with crafting and supporting work on our social-first strategies that ladder up to overall marketing strategy. This role supports Content Strategists I and II, Graphic Designers, Video Editors, and our Creative Lead. This is a key role on the Plural team and will report to our Creative Lead and Founder. This role will be a hybrid work structure, requiring in-person work in our NYC studio at least three days a week.

Responsibilities

Internal Team + Client Partner Communications (10%)

Support Creative Lead and Content Strategists with client communications efforts

Project Management (20%)

Have a baseline understanding of project management and agency environment 

Execute tasks that have been delegated by Plural team to ensure on time delivery of assets and strategies

Content Strategy (30%)

Support Plural team to manage Plural’s in house social channels

Support social media strategies for multiple platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and TikTok

Content Calendar Creation

Support with content calendar creation and management

Ideate engaging, original, high-quality content

Identify gaps in content and recommend new topics

Support Creative Lead and Content Strategists with UGC sourcing and influencer relationships

Copywriting:

Write clear, resonant copy with brand’s distinct tone of voice

Scheduling, Posting & Engaging:

Schedule and post content to social using native features and/or tools such as Sprinklr, Sprout, Dash Hudson, etc

Actively engage and build communities on social channels for each respective partnership 

Publish posts to partner social accounts daily (including nights and weekends)

Data Analytics and Reporting (15%)

Reports:

Support Creative Lead and Content Strategists with crafting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to partners on social media insights and best practices

Analysis 

Support Creative Lead and Content Strategists with reporting on content and campaigns using data from native metrics, Sprout Social, Dash Hudson, Sprinklr, and Google Analytics

Have baseline understanding of translating data into understandable and actionable insights to drive strategy

Proactively perform desk and field research of ‘best in class’; view and experience marketing strategies and tactics online and IRL

Creative & Production (15%)

Support with creative briefs for Plural production team based on partnership content calendars

Continued Development & Pitching (10%)

Best Practices on Social:

Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices

Continue education in marketing, social media, etc; take courses and attend workshops

Remain informed on trends in the social and digital media industries and communicate them to the team

Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new projects

New Business & Pitching:

Provide presentation and RFP support as needed for Plural pitches

Requirements

Requirements

Passion for social media and marketing

Proven experience working in fashion, beauty, interior design, home decor, spirits

Previous work experience (1-2 years) as a Social Media Strategist, Social Media Manager, or role equivalent

Experience managing social media channels (posting, social CRM, analytics)

Experience building content calendars

Experience using social media analytics tools

Role Details

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Minimum of 24 hours per week

This intern role is set to begin in August 2025 until late December 2025

NYC-based; in our Lower East Side studio (hybrid 3 days in studio per week)
