Job Description:

Immediate need for an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of seven to ten years of experience preparing design of Electrical, Fire Alarm and Low Voltage systems from inception to complete construction documents.

Responsibilities:

Design Electrical, Fire Alarm and Low Voltage systems

Low Voltage includes Communications, Audio/Visual and Security systems.

Design from inception to complete construction documents

Complete all phases of design from schematics through construction administration.

Meet with clients to develop scope of project.

Develop project specifications.

Knowledge of NYC filing requirements and procedures

Review of submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.

Qualifications:

8+ years of similar Engineering experience with MEP firms

Proven experience designing Electrical systems in an MEP or A/E firm.

Experience with communication systems design

Knowledge of Building and Energy codes, NEC, NFPA requirements

Strong computer, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP skills

PE license or LEED cert is a plus but not at all required.

MUST have excellent communication and writing skills.

MUST be willing to work in-person. (In-person 5 days/week)

MUST be eligible to work in the US.

BS in Electrical Engineering
