Warehouse Coordinator

Join the MasTec family and help us provide the highest level of quality service to our customers and communities while maintaining our commitment to safety!Responsibilities: Moving material within the distribution center and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling, or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment Receive incoming inventory&supply items, log into the company warehouse system, and stock inventory in the proper location Read work orders, shipping orders, or follow verbal instructions Fill customer invoices. Check part numbers, clean and pack inventory items Inspect inventory for defects, scratches, or other damage. Notify Warehouse Manager of problemsFollow all company safety and accident procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles or equipment Track all inventory in the appropriate system Organize and clean warehouse space and company equipment as needed Report any customer problems or concerns immediately Coach fellow associates on warehouse operational practices and procedures, equipment operation, and safety procedures when neededEnforce policies and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations Evaluate current processes and procedures and recommend changes to warehouse management Maintain working knowledge of warehouse data system and perform various tasks within the system Deliver supplies and equipment in a timely fashion while observing all Regulated DOT and OSHA standardsOther duties as assigned Travel between Manteca and Livermore locations Qualifications: Track record of completing work with a high level of quality Knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to work High school diploma or GED equivalent Frequently required to walk or stand long hours and must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift to 50 poundsForklift operating experience (Forklift Certification a plus) Able to operate personal computers and software programs, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel At least 1 year of warehouse experience Financial Security: 401(k) with company match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), Life insurance, Short-term and Long-term disabilityHealth and Wellness: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, Dependent care and medical flexible spending accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Work/Life Balance: Paid time off, Paid holidays, Family and medical leave, Bereavement leave MasTec, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
